The Opportunity




We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our growing team.

As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Working closely with our Radiologists, Sonographers, Radiographers and clinical team, you will help ensure every patient receives exceptional care and service throughout their journey with us.



Key Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism
  
• Managing appointments, enquiries and patient bookings
  
• Processing referrals, patient records and documentation
  
• Handling payments and Medicare claims
  
• Liaising with patients, referrers and healthcare professionals
  
• Supporting the clinical team with administrative duties
  
  
  
  About You
  
  
  
  
  You are an experienced Medical Receptionist with excellent customer service and communication skills. You take pride in creating positive patient experiences and thrive in a busy healthcare environment.
  
  
  
  Essential Requirements
  
  
  
  
• Previous Medical Reception experience
  
• Medical Imaging experience highly regarded
  
• Strong administration and organisational skills
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask
  
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
  
• Australian working rights

• $30 - $45 per hour + Super (depending on experience)
